About the Program
The Outside the Box Program equips at-risk youth ages 13–17 with workforce-ready life skills, technology training, digital marketing exposure, and career development opportunities designed to prepare them for real-world success.
Youth participate in a hands-on, engaging program that builds confidence, professionalism, leadership, and employability while exposing them to administrative, digital, entrepreneurial, and technology career pathways.

Use Your Step Up Scholarship at Valor Living Academy
Valor Living Academy is an approved Step Up For Students service provider offering engaging youth enrichment programs focused on life skills, entrepreneurship, beauty business, career readiness, Microsoft Office, and AI.
Families with eligible Step Up For Students scholarships may be able to use available scholarship funds for approved Valor Living Academy services. Our programs combine practical lessons, interactive activities, and real world learning.

Career preparation featuring Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, AI training, workplace communication, and professional readiness.
Who Can Enroll?
Youth may be eligible when:
- They have an active, funded Step Up scholarship
- The selected Valor service is allowable under their scholarship
- Enough funds remain available
- They meet the program's age and enrollment requirements
